The most common Lake Michigan
species that we target are Chinook ("King")
Salmon, Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Trout, and
Brown Trout. On rare occasion it is possible to
catch a "grand slam", however your catch will
most likely consist of at least two or three
different species depending on the time of year
as noted below. Fishing
for salmon and trout involves trolling with
artificial spoons, plugs, and flashers.
Depending on the depth of the fish, these are
presented with downriggers, planer boards,
Dipsey Divers, or a combination of all three.
